US Holocaust survivors to receive federal funds

"We must do all we can to honor their struggles, lives," says congresswoman; would make survivors eligible for special programs.

Holocaust survivors in the US will receive federal funds designed to help them age at home, rather than having to move to an institution, according to a new congressional bill drafted by Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) and Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL).

The bipartisan proposal calls for survivors to be added to a list of elderly citizens receiving preferred treatment under the Older Americans Act, to designate an individual within the Administration on Aging to overlook programs offered to survivors and create a grant program helping them with their transportation needs.

“As a nation that upholds the values of freedom, liberty and justice, we have a moral obligation to acknowledge the plight and uphold the dignity of Holocaust survivors to ensure their well-being,” said Wasserman Schultz.

“Our children’s generation will be the last to know Holocaust survivors and hear their stories firsthand. We must do all we can to honor their struggles and their lives by improving their access to transportation to get them where they need to go, and improve their home-care options so that they can have peace of mind. This bill does just that, and it’s time to make it happen.”

Ros-Lehtinen said survivors of Nazi persecution deserve to be honored in their old age. “The sad reality is that every day, we have fewer Holocaust survivors among us to tell their tragic tales that remind us of the reality of evil,” she said in an email. “Many of these survivors have pressing medical and housing needs and this bill seeks to address those gaping holes in social services.” The Jewish Federations of North America on Wednesday took credit for helping create the bill, saying it was the result of a series of meetings it arranged between the lawmakers, and Holocaust survivors and social workers. “We thank Reps. Wasserman Schultz and Ros-Lehtinen for introducing this bill, which takes the necessary step of recognizing and addressing the unique situation of Holocaust survivors who have contributed greatly to this country since the Second World War,” said Cheryl Fishbein, chairwoman of the Federations’ America Domestic Affairs Cabinet. “When passed, this bill will provide the support local agencies need to ensure that survivors are able to live their lives with comfort, security and dignity.” There are some 127,000 Holocaust survivors living in the United States today, the Federations said in a press release. About 75 percent of those are over the age of 75 and about two-thirds live alone. Many of these survivors struggle to make ends meet, and are in poor health.

Comment:

My folks struggle to make ends meet and are in poor health. Where's their free money? Oh, I forgot. My folks are White. They get nothing.

To add insult to injury, not one, not one single so-called survivor was born in the United States. Even IF the Holohoax was real, why do we owe survivors anything? The United States had no part in the Holohoax, so why do we have to pay? Also, no current taxpayer (where do you think this money will come from) was even alive back then. How could today's generation of taxpayers possibly owe the Jews anything?

Why? Because we all know who the power behind the government is. We don't call it Zionist Occupied Government without good reason.

Comrades, this is just one of many reasons why a National Socialist government is so desperately needed. Payments to these lying parasites must end once and for all. That money should be spent on helping our own elderly live decently in their last years. If the wealthy Jews feel their poorer comrades deserve some more money, why don't THEY pony up the dough? Well, as they say, a fool and his money are soon parted, but a Jew and his money are NEVER parted.

Thanks again for the story, Comrade Raymond.

  1. Old Jews laying back in bed getting the royal treatment! I know this article makes NS about have a come apart!

The question I have is the next generation of Jews going to get the royal treatment when they age old? Does this pattern repeat?

I guess the cutbacks for home health care went to fund these select Jews to stay in their home?

I guess in all fairness the Jews are afraid that whitey will pull the plug on their machine. I bet they hire Jew only medical staff because they are so afraid that blacks would accidently unplug their machine to plug in a vacuum cleaner cord. I bet they have the finest meals prepared and not what you typically see at rest homes some watered down soup.

I don't know if the children of Holohoax survivors will get free money, but I'm sure many will try. They'll probably claim they're entitled to it because they had a disadvantaged childhood because their folks lost everything to the Nazis (we do admit the Nazis confiscated the Jew's money, businesses and homes during the war), and if that hadn't happened, they would have had a much better childhood, so we owe them restitution as well.

All I can say is this. If someone came to me and showed me proof positive that my late grandfather swindled his late grandfather out of $100,000 that was supposed to come to him through an inheritance, and now he has nothing, so I owe him restitution, I'll tell him to kiss my hairy ass.

IF I ever did something that required restitution, I'd make it good to those I'd wronged, but not their descendants. In my opinion, all debts die with the people involved. They cannot be passed down from generation to generation. That's BS.
