Someone posted a question for me today, and rather than spend time answering it in the comments section, and still make my daily post, I thought I would save some time and answer it AS a daily post.
It wasn't a simple question, because it involves one of America's most cherished freedoms - that of freedom of expression and speech.
Here we go:
In a National Socialist America, would we still be allowed to have violent video games such as "Grand Theft Auto", and would they still be allowed to be developed?
Ask different NS leaders that question, and you could get different answers.
My answer is video games where car thieves are the heroes and cops the bad guys can't be good for our children.
Now I know that these games are rated, like V for violence, and M for Mature. But how many parents allow their children to play those games regardless? Quite a lot.
Now I really hate to stifle anyone's freedom of expression, but that freedom cannot be absolute. When it is harmful to the community, then it cannot be allowed.
Who makes those decisions? Well our NS leaders, of course. Now such decisions would not be made arbitrarily. Experts in psychology would be consulted, and our leaders would be guided by them.
Even today, psychologists agree that such games are unsuitable for children. But what about adults?
If they could be kept away from children, I say whatever game an adult plays is their own business.
Could we allow adults to play these games AND keep them away from children? About as well as pornography is kept away from them. And you know kids do get their hands on porn sometimes.
I myself am willing to allow adults to play whatever they want, as long as it is kept away from children. Any parent that allows their child to play these games is guilty of child abuse, and should be punished severely.
Now I'm no big fan of the police. They're nothing but ZOG tools, but it's the principle that counts.
The children are indeed our future. They are what WE make of them. They look to their parents first and foremost as their example of what's appropriate and what's not.
If parents play violent video games and the children are aware of it - even if the child is not allowed to play themselves - what kind of message does that send?
When you become a parent, everything changes for you. As a non-parent, when you did something irresponsible, chances are you harmed no one but yourself. But when you're a parent, you harm your kids as well.
Your kid's needs come before yours WITHOUT exception. They had no choice in being born. You did.
Being a parent is a marvelous heartache. Good parents sacrifice so much for their kids, and often receive ingratitude as their reward. But that's the way it is. You were both a joy and heartache to your folks, and now your kids are doing it to you. Full circle. Their kids will do it to them, and on and on. It's just how the ball bounces.
Now to really answer your question. At the very founding of an NS state, I would be willing to allow those games for adults only. And I mean adults, not teenagers. If too many kids get their hands on them, then this privilege would have to be suspended.
When I was teaching, at the beginning of the year, I would allow my students to eat in the classroom. Those classes that abused this privilege lost it. Those who behaved responsibly got to keep it. It would be the same with these video games.
Now remember, this is just my opinion. Others, including Chairman Suhayda may disagree with me. And I'm sure a number of those who read this will disagree as well. If you do, let's here from you.
Dan 88!
