Attacked In The Press

The Jew Media is really doing a hatchet job on me since they found out I'm running for school board and in Aryan Nations. I'm in six or more papers, including the LA Times.

I'm also going to be mentioned, or have been mentioned on at least three TV stations: ABC, NBC, and WB. They're all screaming shit like "White Supremacist Runs For School Board". They got a hold of a photo of me in front of a Swastika, and they're really going to town on me. Here's one of the stories.

White supremacist targets seat on Rialto school board

RIALTO - An avowed white supremacist who often drops racist fliers on residential lawns and driveways is seeking election to the school board.

Dan Schruender, a past president of the California chapter of an Aryan Nations group, filed nomination papers Monday with the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters.

Schruender is aiming for one of two seats up for election in the Rialto Unified School District, where trustees Joanne Gilbert and John Kazalunas are seeking re-election. "The Aryan Nations is not running me for the school board," Schruender said Thursday. "I did this all on my own. I was thinking of running for office for years."

Schruender on Tuesday announced his campaign on an Aryan Nations blog. The group is based in Chillicothe, Ohio. Kazalunas said Schruender's candidacy is a reminder that voters should scrutinize everybody who runs for office.

"If anybody votes for him, they're crazy," Kazalunas said. "They would have to be a little backward."

In April, Schruender, who at the time identified himself as Dan Collins, said he delivers racist fliers to Rialto neighborhoods to let people know that the white race is not "going to go out with a whimper."

Some of the fliers invited residents to honor Adolf Hitler's birthday. Others used racial epithets to describe blacks and Latinos while saying "happy Easter to all you ... from your friends at the Aryan Nations."

Schruender, who said he is a retired high school teacher, explained that he sometimes goes by the name Collins because it's easier for people to pronounce and spell.

He said he produces the supremacist group's literature, but would not let his ideology affect his policy-making if he were elected to a district that has more than 27,500 students, most of whom are Latino and black.

According to the district office, Latinos make up 75.52 percent of the students, and blacks make up 15.61 percent.

"We have to deal with all kids fairly and evenly, but there are certain things I would like to address," he said.

He would be hard-pressed to convince those who monitor the white supremacist movement in the U.S.

"It strains credulity that someone whose mission is dedicated to the denial of equality should be entrusted with the education of our children," said Brian Levin, director of the Center for the Study of Hate and Extremism at Cal State San Bernardino. "It makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up."

Levin said candidates with links to extremist groups typically try to run stealth campaigns, hoping voters are too distracted to notice who they are affiliated with.

Schruender said he wants to overhaul a curriculum that has been dumbed down by the state of California.

"We've got to find a way for the kids to meet the standards, not the standards to meet the kids," he said.

He said he would work to save vocational programs.

"We are not giving the non-college-bound kids anything," he said.

Schruender said it's unfair that varsity sports continue to be paid for while academic programs suffer cuts.

"We need to concentrate on academics first, vocation second, then athletics last," he said.

Registrar Kari Verjil said Schruender's paperwork is under standard review.

"For school districts and special districts it's a simple process," Verjil said.

Verjil said the deadline to file is Friday at 5 p.m.

Gilbert said she was unaware of Schruender's ties to the white supremacist movement, and didn't want to comment on the issue.

"We have a good board," Gilbert said. "We're working on trying to stay focused on what our needs are. I think the board we have now (is) off to a great start and we want to continue that."

Here's some examples of their lies and slants. I NEVER, NEVER used the term 'White Supremacist'. I used the term 'White Nationalist'. I NEVER, NEVER, admitted to dropping fliers on people's lawns. I said I have members who do that for me. In truth, I did do that, but I didn't want the cops harassing me on phoney littering charges or other bullshit, so I said other members did it for me. The reporter had no way of knowing that I really did do it, but he said I did anyway.

As far as I'm concerned, I have been libeled and defamed. I'm going to wait a few days to see what else may happen, then I'm going to look into suing them. If AN helps with legal expenses, I will naturally share any court winnings I may receive. But for now, I'm going to wait until perhaps the middle of next week. Hopefully things will die down by then. You all know the average American's attention span is extremely limited. As soon as the next Niggerball game comes on or the next celebrity gets arrested, or the next round of American Idol airs, they'll forget all about this. We'll see. Whatever happens, I'll face it, and deal with it. I'm not going away. I started something, and I finish what I start.

Also, the following is an email I sent to ANP Chairman Rocky Suhayda. He was dead on about the press, but I feel this much uproar was more than anyone would expect over a local, small town election. However, Rocky seems to be copping an "I told you so" attitude. When things like this happen, we should support each other, and not start pointing fingers over who was right and who was wrong.

Dear Rocky,

I remembered what you said about avoiding media circuses and the like, and I was very hesitant to talk to a reporter. This reporter said that a story on me would run whether I talked to him or not. I started trying to imagine what he would say and people's reaction if I refused to comment. It would look like I had something to hide, and that's the way he'd report it, most likely. The only thing better for a paper's ratings than a WN running for office, is a WN who's running for office and won't talk about it. I figured the best thing to do is to answer some questions as honestly as I could, and not volunteer any information, which is what I did. I was well aware that the Jew Media twists everything we have to say, but I thought silence would be more damning. I'm also told another paper is picking up the story. I told them I wasn't interested. All I said was AN was NOT running me for office, and I was doing this on my own. KABC TV also called. I simply told them, "No Comment." Maybe that's what I should have said all along, but like I said, the first reporter said a story would run whether I talked or not. Now I have to deal with the repercussions, such as my parents having to take crap from people because of me. That hasn't happened - yet, and it may never happen. The public has a short attention span. If things simmer down in the press, the public will forget as soon as the next football game is on, or the next round of 'American Idol' aires.

I want to point out that Director Mullet is not at fault here. I did this on my own. He did not put me up to it. Mr. Dulaney, the reporter who wrote the story got my name and number from the Registrar Of Voters. It's a matter of public record. The ROV had to give the press that information. How did he know I was with AN? Back in March, when we did a mass literature hand out, much like ANP's 'Snowlakes In July' campaign, I was contacted by Mr. Dulaney and asked some questions. He had my phone number in his database. He said they often cross check unknown candidates to see if they already have anything on them. Well, he cross checked my information and my phone number popped up. Then he knew who I was and recontacted me. The rest you know.

Security is very important to AN. But in cases like this, silence can be just as damaging, if not more so. I was already a candidate before I informed Director Mullet. He is not hungry for any press, good or bad. This is just an unfortunate occurrance whose repercussions, I'll have to deal with. Director Mullet has stated that he and Aryan Nations will stand behind me, and I know they will. I'm not saying that we don't want any publicity. However, Aryan Nations would not deliberately throw one of its own to the wolves and not care what happens to him in order to get some free publicity.

After this setback, I'm extremely disappointed in your "I told you so" attitude. All WN's should be supporting each other when things like this happen, and not start playing the blame game. Director Mullet feels you have put yourself at an even lower level than Jeff Schoep and the National Satanist Movement.

Say what you like about the press, but they are very good at what they do. This was bound to happen, and I was aware of the possibility. I just wasn't going to let it stop me from doing what I had to do. The only mistake I made was underestimating the level of uproar this would cause. After all, Rialto is a very small town. There are less than 50,000 people here, if I'm not mistaken. I knew there would be some uproar if they knew who I was, I just failed to realise the degree to which the press would stir things up. However, about 80% of those people in Rialto are not White. About 90% of the children who attend Rialto schools are non-Whites. I had that going against me from moment one.

Now that its happened, we have to deal with it. Even if I run unopposed, the ANTIFA will probably find a way to interfere. Well, we all learn from our mistakes. Perhaps because I'm fairly well-known in the movement, running for any office is not realistic. Perhaps my role in the election process should be to support my fellow WN's when they give it a try, and I encourage them to do just that. Director Mullet, myself, and the entire organisation will be there to support them, if needed.

All is NOT lost - at least not yet. I'll have a better idea if it is by next week. If it turns out all is lost, the best thing to do is regroup, and plan our next strategy. One way or another, I'm not throwing in the towel. If we fail this time, we'll try again, and again, and again until we achieve victory.

Whatever happens, I do not blame Director Mullet in any way. Anything that happens is not his fault, nor Bradley Jenkins' fault either. I will continue to post updates on the situation on my blog and the forum. So Rocky, let's all be supportive of one another, rather than condemning.

Dan Schruender

  1. Good luck Dan, I think you've got what it takes.

Can NNN get a link on your fine blog?

  2. It doesn't matter what you called (or didn't call) yourself. Okay, so you're a "White Nationalist".

Still doesn't take away from the fact that you hang around people, and belong in a group that idolizes nazi emblems and images of Hitler. You're only as good as you're dirtiest friend.
And that makes you extremely dirty, Dan.

What's up with all the Hitler images and Nazi symbols on your website?

There's something you (or your colleagues) that seems to get an adrenaline rush over Hitler. There's something in you that wants those giant military rallies, the rounding up of the Jews, gypsies and queers, etc., and at best the deportation of them, and at worst, the murder and torture of them.

Just because you walk the fine line of Talking Carefully... doesn't mean we cannot see what is in your authoritarian heart.

If people like you were in charge, Dan, the lynching of powerless people would return to America, and you and your buddies in charge would just look the other way, pretending to not be aware of it.

    Your soul is naked, Dan.

  4. Given that you are seeking a seat on the school board I would think that you would be a tad more careful about your grammar. The word "Jew" is a noun. Thus, the term "Jew Media" is meaningless. The word that you are looking for is the adjective "Jewish." Furthermore, while Jewish control of the media is a myth, you can hardly call the truth a "hatchet job." After all, you ARE a white supremacist and you are running for the school board.

Moving along, before you start bloviating about suing people you might want to check out Sullivan v. NY Times. In any event your contention seems to be that the reporter was truthful about something you lied about but since he could not know that you lied, he has somehow defamed you? Must be one of those Aryan things to fully appreciate.

While I object to a bigot having anything to do with the education of children that is of less concern than the fact that you don't seem to be terribly bright. Your less than mediocre intellect is something that should not be inflicted on our kids.

  5. im thinking its not goiong to take much for any competition to win this election.
"this is a week old pickle running for a position on the board against Dan Schruender. it is not a nazi"
and the winner is... week old pickle.

  6. and david, "jew" is short for jewish in this type of instance.

  7. Crusty - did you even bother to read Mr. Schruender's platform? There's nothing in there about "lynching". You remind me of one of those old superstitious types who burned witches in Salem in the 17th century simply because they thought differently than the elite.

Mr Schruender has made it quite clear that he will separate school policy from personal ideology if elected. He's also made it just as clear that he will treat all constituents equally and fairly.

Linking 21st century White nationalism to Germany's concentration camps and 19th century lynching is ludicrous.

  8. David - If you really believe Jewish domination of the media and the entertainment industry is a "myth", you ought to read this column by L.A. Times Jewish columnist Joel Stein, who verifies that most Hollywood producers are Jewish.

  9. Anchorage Activist - Mr. Schruender's platform is meaningless. Just like the GOP and Democratic platforms (also meaningless, compared to what they really believe).

We know his real thoughts. He's a "White nationalist"... which means he is full of racial or racialist pride and has an authoritarian worldview. That's a very dangerous mix. He wouldn't be a White Nationalist, if he wasn't into authoritarianism. And there's no such thing as a good authoritarian politician, no matter what race or party he prefers.

  10. Oh, come on everyone - this is obviously a joke! I mean, re-read this bit:

"I NEVER, NEVER, admitted to dropping fliers on people's lawns. I said I have members who do that for me. In truth, I did do that, but I didn't want the cops harassing me on phoney littering charges or other bullshit, so I said other members did it for me. The reporter had no way of knowing that I really did do it, but he said I did anyway.

As far as I'm concerned, I have been libeled and defamed."

Surely no sane person over the age of five could have said this, much less meant it - & forget getting anyone to believe it!

Way to go "Dan Schruender" - good one!

  12. Dan, you're going to make it hard to obtain your objectives if you continue to lie and promote yourself based on the policies of a political party steeped in the concept that lying is OK. Even the moderately educated in this country know and associate nazism and fascism with obtaining power through propaganda. Propaganda is not truth... well, a little, but only enough to exploit any given situation for political expediency. But you already know this, if you're a fan of Goering.

While the aforementioned movements are not the only parties to employ propaganda, perhaps you would do better at the polls with one from this nation that is not instantly associated with evil... say, Republi... no, not that one, they're pretty much kaput. How about the Tea Party? They probably won't be thought of in those terms for at least another four years. And nobody really trusts the Democrats any more. Oh, I know! How about Libertarians? Everyone's pretty much forgotten their ruse about fiscal conservancy! I say "ruse" because the party was insolvent two years after they became a national ballot entrée.

Community service is a noble undertaking, if you remain true to the precepts that fuel your passion; ignoble, if replaced by the trappings of power. If you want to help your community, think about how limited you will be under the banner of the Third Reich.

Just out of curiosity, what is the logic behind the German language voice-over on your site? I'm pretty sure that there are not enough German speakers in your area to justify the cost associated with producing it. Voters will prioritize fiscal responsibility and frugality this voting season, so any unnecessary spending by a candidate will be looked on askance.

Anyway, I hope some of this helps! Feel free to contact me if you would like any other advice on your campaign... or life in general :-)

    Sincerely,
    Bill Farsaw

    P. S. It will be nigh to impossible to sue the publication you mentioned above, owing to the fact that you have admitted here that you were guilty of what they accused you. Ah well... we live, we learn, eh?
