The Georgia Legislative Black Caucus filed a lawsuit Monday against the state of Georgia seeking to dissolve the city charters of Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Johns Creek, Milton and Chattahoochee Hills. Further, the lawmakers, joined by civil rights leader the Rev. Joseph Lowery, aim to dash any hopes of a Milton County.

The lawsuit, filed in a North Georgia U.S. District Court Monday, claims that the state circumvented the normal legislative process and set aside its own criteria when creating the “super-majority white ” cities within Fulton and DeKalb counties. The result, it argues, is to dilute minority votes in those areas, violating the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and the Fourteenth and Fifteenth Amendments to the Constitution.
Rep. Lynne Riley, R-Johns Creek, called the lawsuit “frivolous” and “disrespectful to the citizens of these cities who are most satisfied with their government.”
Riley was active in creating Sandy Springs and the subsequent cities while serving as a Fulton County commissioner.
“These jurisdictions were based on geography and nothing else,” she said. “We haven’t seen any evidence of any disadvantage based on the creation of new cities. We’ve watched the Fulton County budget continue to grow … to say there was damage done by this creation, there are no facts to support that, and I would reject it.”

Obama and the Black Lawmakers simply don't want any all White communities - even if there was no violation of the law. It just sticks in their craws.
Let me ask this: Why aren't their any minorities in these communities? It's not because they're being deliberately kept out. They either can't afford to live there, or simply no minority person has had the desire to live in those particular communities.
It also serves to help them curtail "White Flight". We won't be able to flee, if there's nowhere to flee to. They know as soon as we're gone, these communities turn into ghettos, because they simply are incapable of properly running their own towns. Without us, everything just goes to hell in a hand basket. They just won't admit it because the few intelligent ones are embarrassed by the average member of their race being incapable of properly maintaining their "hoods" without Whitey's help.
I think it's time the Blacks got off that "trying to deny us our voting rights" crap. Firstly, Blacks practically run the state. When was the last time Atlanta had a White mayor? We have a Black president. There are Black congressmen, senators, cabinet members, supreme court justices, generals, admirals, etc. You name it. No one these days, except extremists would even try and deny them proper voting rights.
C'mon guys (Blacks). You have your rights. No one is trying to take them away. Let's get on to something else.
