Election Results

Well, we have some good news and bad. The bad is that I lost my bid for school board. I'm sure many people are breathing a sigh of relief that the "evil Nazi" has been defeated. However, I did get 1807 votes. That is a respectable number, despite my being outed by the press. I'll wager I would have won if the press hadn't done such a hatchet job on me. What's really frustrating is the only other candidate, not counting incumbent John Kazalunas, to have any background in education was Edgar Montes, who calls himself an "educational consultant", which could mean anything, including substitute teacher. It goes to prove how brainwashed the sheeple are. They'll elect someone unqualified, rather than a qualified National Socialist.

The NSM's Jeff Hall also garnered a respectable amount of votes, and in an interview, demonstrated that he is well versed in water-related issues. At the very least, we were not a couple of political jokes. We did respectably. Next time, we'll do better. Next time, more National Socialists will be running. We have two years to get ready, and remember, 2012 will be a presidential election year, so it will be really important for us to try again.

If anyone has the desire and will to try, but doesn't know how to get started, I'll be happy to help. Registering to run can seem intimidating, but once you know where to go and what to do, it's easy. Bear in mind the higher offices usually require that you pay a fee. The lower, non-partison offices are mostly without a fee.

As I'm sure most of you know, California's next governor is Jerry Brown. Unbelievable! Nowadays, most people tend to vote for what they consider the lesser of two evils. Californians consider Brown the lesser of two evils? Well California, get out your check books. This is really going to cost you. Brown bankrupted this state last time he was governor. He'll probably do it again. This reminds me of that episode of "The Simpsons" when Homer got his electricity cut off. Deciding to pirate it, he climbs the pole with wires from his house. He looks at all the connections and says, "Maybe the red wire." He promptly gets a big shock. Then he says, "Maybe the blue one." Another shock. Then he says, "I'll try the red one again." Another shock of course. Then back to the blue again. That's California for you. The people have to be the stupidest voters in the country. They tried the red, and got shocked. Then the blue. And now they're trying the red again. D'OH!

Once again they reelected that liberal icon Barbara Boxer. She's 72. The senate is a six year term. I am making no threats here. All I'm saying is at her age, there's a good chance she'll die of old age before she finishes. Well, if she does, no problem for the Democraps. Jerry Brown will just appoint another liberal to fill out her term. Since she is so old, all we can do now is hope she'll decide to retire
in 2016. If she goes for still another term, she'll be 84 when she finishes! I still say we need federal term limits. By 2016, Boxer will have been in office over 30 years. No one should be allowed to make a career of one office, even if they are the best senator of all time. IT'S TOO LONG!

On the bright side, we can now say goodbye to Speaker Of The House Nancy Pelosi from San Francisco. Figures, doesn't it? The most liberal speaker of all time comes from the birthplace of American liberalism. At least we don't have to worry about that cow any more.

Proposition 19 which would have legalised marijuana went down the tubes. That's another bit of good news. I bet a lot of potheads are crying in their bongs right now.

More good news...

Proposition 25 which will stop politician's paychecks and benefits if they fail to bring in the budget on time passed with 53%. It seems the people are fed up with Sacramento's annual budget bullshit year after year.

Prop 26, which will prevent the state from imposing new taxes disguised as "fees" passed with 56%. The people are getting sick and tired of being taxed up the wazoo every time Sacramento wants money to spend on constant frivolous crap, and freebies for illegal immigrants.

Prop 21, which would have added $18 a year to vehicle registration to fund state parks failed to pass by 60%. They way I see it is, I can't remember the last time I used a California State Park. Some people use them all the time, so let them pay for the upkeep with increased entry fees. Why should those who never use them foot the bill? I say it should be pay-as-you-go. You use a park, you pay. You don't use a park, you don't pay. Fair is fair.

Prop 22, which prevents the state from borrowing from one fund to pay for something totally unrelated passed with a whopping 64%! It seems the folks have had enough of Sacramento raiding the highway fund to pay for programs for illegal aliens, or raiding the education fund to redecorate their offices.

Prop 20, which will prevent elected officials from establishing congressional districts, and instead transfers that power to a 14 member panel composed of an even number of Democrats, Republicans, and third party members passed by 65% of the votes. State senators and assemblymen can no longer set their own districts. I'll bet that one really hurt!

Prop 23, which would have allowed Judeo-Capitalist corporations to legally increase the amounts of greenhouse gases they emit failed to pass by 58% of the vote.

Prop 24, which would have lowered the taxes of big business has also failed to pass by 61%. I'll bet they're crying in their imported wine over that one!

Maybe Californians aren't as stupid as I thought?
